1. Business Information
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Detail X. By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Bookings & Appointments
All bookings must be scheduled through our website, phone, or approved booking platform. Appointment times are subject to availability and confirmation. Detail X reserves the right to reschedule appointments if necessary due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.

3. Vehicle Preparation
Customers must ensure the vehicle is accessible at the scheduled appointment time.

  • All keys must be removed from the ignition before the service begins.

  • The vehicle must be unlocked if interior detailing is booked.

  • All personal belongings must be removed from the vehicle before the appointment.

Failure to properly prepare the vehicle may result in delays or rescheduling of the service.

4. Personal Items & Valuables
Customers are responsible for removing all personal belongings, valuables, money, documents, electronics, and fragile items from the vehicle. Detail X is not responsible for lost or damaged items left inside the vehicle.

5. Child Seats & Installed Accessories
For safety reasons, Detail X does not remove or reinstall child seats, booster seats, or permanently installed accessories. Cleaning will only be performed around these items unless they are removed prior to the appointment.

6. Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Damage
While we take the utmost care when detailing vehicles, Detail X is not responsible for pre-existing damage including but not limited to:

  • Scratches, dents, rock chips, or faded paint

  • Loose or damaged trim

  • Faulty electronics or switches

  • Worn upholstery or carpet

  • Damaged or cracked plastics

Any existing damage observed before detailing may be noted prior to service.

7. Excessively Dirty Vehicles
Vehicles that require excessive cleaning, including heavy mud, pet hair, sand, stains, or spills, may incur additional charges. Customers will be notified before additional work is performed whenever possible.

8. Biohazards, Mold & Bodily Fluids
Vehicles containing mold, bodily fluids, hazardous waste, vomit, blood, or other biohazards may require specialized cleaning and may be refused service at our discretion.

9. Engine Bay Cleaning Disclaimer
Engine bay cleaning is performed at the customer’s request and risk. Detail X is not responsible for any electrical or mechanical issues that may arise from cleaning the engine compartment, particularly in older or modified vehicles.

10. Weather Conditions (Mobile Services)
For mobile detailing services, appointments may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions such as heavy rain, storms, or extreme heat.

11. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed. We accept approved payment methods including cash, card, or electronic payment.

12. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a cancellation fee.

13. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the service, please contact Detail X within 24 hours of service completion so we can address the issue.

14. Limitation of Liability
Detail X’s liability is limited to the value of the service provided. Detail X is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

15. Changes to Terms
Detail X reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website.
